I`ll be doing a series of these over time from all of the Heise Godzilla films. The idea is to do my favorite scenes from each movie but from a different angle or a more dynamic one. Godzilla 93 happens to be my favorite Godzilla movie out of all of them so i just had to this one first. I will be coloring this one but i figured the b/w inked version was worth posting. I hope everyone likes it. :)

Pretty cool. Love the hatching and cross hatching technique for the shading. And yes this is beyond words of a dynamic angle.

Awesome! this piece is really really epic. talk about a dynamic angle. it makes the scene look a lot more intense and awesome. though a robot like that could never compete with the big and powerful atomic dinosaur we all love. Kiryu stood a WAY better chance. i really love the Heisei Godzilla, but not as much as his 2000 and up versions. if only they would combine the size, mass and power of Heisei with the nimble and agile modern ones. anyway truly awesome job!

you know as the years go by i find myself wondering more and more why this is my favorite but every time i watch it, i get into it just as much as the first time i saw it. I think it may be characters but i admit they are kinda bland or maybe its the fights but i also admit there have been better fights in the Godzilla franchise. So i guess the short answer is i really don`t know.

Lol. i guess that answer will suffice :)

My favorite movie, story wise, was Godzilla vs. MachaGodzilla II or was it III? well, it was the one where the Jr. hatched. it also had Kiryu and Rodan in it too. i really liked that story. even if the acting was still a bit silly, seeing the next gen Godzilla as an infant was cool. fight wise, i think Final wars and S.O.S take the award for that, but vs. Destroyah was cool. you got to see two Godzillas duke it out. design wise, i'd say S.O.S and up just because Godzilla and the other kaiju looked really awesome in them. even though these films dont have emmy worthy acting and stories, they still excel in the awesome factor. besides seeing how silly they can act provides comic relief :)
